Lululemon Athletica says it plans to reopen the Bethesda store where an employee allegedly killed her co-worker last month.
The company said in a statement that it would renovate the retail yoga store and reopen it “in the coming months.” The store is located at at 4856 Bethesda Ave.
Employee Jayna Murray, 30, was found beaten to death in the store the morning of March 12. Another store worker, 28-year-old Brittany Norwood, is charged with first-degree murder in Murray’s death. Prosecutors say the two engaged in a brutal struggle and Murray suffered a crushed skull and severed spinal cord.
According to prosecutors, Norwood pretended that she was also a victim when police found the pair in the story. Norwood had been bound, and told authorities that she had been sexually assaulted.
