A popular President Trump impersonator will soon star in a weekly television show on Comedy Central in which he parodies Trump’s disdain for the mainstream media.
Anthony Atamanuik, the Trump look-alike, will host the program, in which the fake Trump character will conduct his own news show to bypass the “crooked media,” Deadline Hollywood reported Monday.
Starting April 27, “The President Show” will hit Comedy Central’s airwaves every Thursday at 11:30 p.m.
Trump’s unorthodox style has provided late-night comedians with plenty of fodder to boost their ratings and grow their audiences.
