Arizona Republicans say state headed Trump’s way — Maricopa County election officials count ballots for the general election at the Maricopa County Recorders Office, Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020, in Phoenix.

Arizona Republican Party Chairwoman Kelli Ward said her state was “trending in the direction of” President Trump.

Biden held a lead of fewer than 70,000 votes on Thursday, with 88% reporting.
