Roughly a dozen House Republicans will join former President Donald Trump on a visit to the southern border next week.
Lawmakers from the Republican Study Committee, the largest caucus within the House GOP, will attend the trip with Trump next Wednesday. Rep. Jim Banks, who leads the committee, accused the Biden administration of worsening the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border, which has seen a surge in migration in recent months.
