Michael Wolff, author of the sensational Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, claimed that MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough were “eager to gossip” with him about who President Trump could be having an affair with, even though Brzezinski cut short his interview in disgust on Thursday when that issue came up.
Wolff, who was on “Morning Joe” Thursday, said in a tweet after the program, “The last time I was on Morning Joe off camera Joe and Mika eager to gossip about who Trump might be sleeping with.”

His tweet came after his segment on the show that day was abruptly ended by Brzezinski, because she said Wolff was not being forthcoming about suggestions in his book that U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley was having an affair with Trump. That prompted Wolff to suggested on Twitter that Trump might have been right about Brzezinski when he said she’s “crazy.”
“My bad, the President is right about Mika,” Wolff tweeted.

In more tweets, Wolff said, “It really would be hard to gossip more eagerly off camera than Mika and Joe gossip,” and “To be invited on a show with the purpose of being thrown off… is the new television.”
On the show, Brzezinski accused Wolff of “slurring a woman” with his suggestion about Haley, which Haley has denied. “It’s disgraceful,” Brzezinski said.

In other words, I had to say what Mika wanted me to say, or else…the hook!
