President Trump on Friday denied that his rhetoric is creating violence in the country and instead placed the blame on “fake news.”

“You’re creating violence by your questions,” the president told reporters outside the White House before departing for a rally in West Virginia. “You are creating — you. And also, a lot of the reporters are creating violence by not writing the truth. The fake news is creating violence.”
