Ark. students show ACT improvement but lag nation

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas high school seniors taking the ACT college entrance test scored better in college readiness than one year before.

The results released Wednesday by the Iowa-based testing company show Arkansas 2012 graduates performed better in English, reading, math and science, compared to seniors who took the test in 2011.
