Hundreds line up hours before Trump rally on Jersey Shore

Hundreds of people began lining up Monday night hours before President Trump’s rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, scheduled for Tuesday evening.

Rep. Jeff Van Drew, who represents the state’s 2nd District in Congress, said that after he switched from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party, Trump immediately agreed to do the rally upon being asked.

“I said, ‘This would help me so much if you came and had a rally here,'” Van Drew said on Fox News Tuesday. “And without even batting an eye, he said he would come. He’s a man of his word.”

Temperatures reached as low as 37 degrees on the Jersey Shore Monday evening.

The rally is scheduled to begin at 7 pm.
