Melania Trump could be moving to White House this summer

First lady Melania Trump could be moving into the White House “sometime this summer,” according to a report.

The wife of President Trump announced shortly after the election she would remain in New York until son Barron finished out the school year.

Mrs. Trump has been “preparing the residence” for the move for some time, sources told NBC News. This includes redecorating the private quarters. She has also been looking for schools for Barron — who is 11 — to relocate.

Barron will be the first boy to live at the White House since 3-year-old John F. Kennedy Jr., did in 1963.

“Barron’s privacy is very important to the First Lady,” officials told NBC News.

More than 200,000 people have signed a petition on Change.org calling for her to move to the White House or pay for the security costs associated with her protection at Trump Tower in New York City.
