Right in the middle of a bitter custody battle with her baby daddy, Halle Berry is reportedly planning a move to France with her fiance, actor Olivier Martinez, and her daughter.
The Oscar winner has filed papers in court to request permission to move out of the country with Nahla, 3, TMZ reports.
Halle and her ex-beau, model Gabriel Aubry, split in April 2010 and have been fighting ever since.
Not long ago, Halle and Gabriel were in court after an alleged incident in which Gabriel pushed their daughter’s nanny. He has since been sent to anger management but has retained joint custody.
But the move might not be for revenge, as many are speculating. TMZ says Halle wants to leave the United States because of fear.
A law enforcement source told the site that a mentally unstable man has threatened to “slit her throat.” (The same guy threatened Madonna in 1995 and was actually shot by her bodyguard.) And another stalker, who had trespassed onto Halle’s property, has just been released from jail.
Michael, Jennifer on very good terms
On-screen siblings and former married couple Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter were photographed by a beach in L.A. looking all sorts of cozy.
Their divorce was finalized in December, but they’ve since been spotted looking very coupley the last few months.
But a source tells Us Weekly, “They’re just good friends. Their divorce was the most amicable in the world.”
The “Dexter” stars were married in 2008, and Jennifer was by Michael’s side during his battle with lymphoma in 2010.
She told Entertainment Weekly last year, “He is and always will be one of my best friends in the world.”
If it’s possible, these two exes are looking even more amicable than Katy Perry and Russell Brand.

She has a big film opening very soon, but needs a higher profile so she can score top billing in a film. He has several films opening this year — and another half-dozen in development — but could use a beard. They make a very attractive fake couple, they share an agent, and their faux union has the blessing of their respective PR teams, so … bring on the fake dates, the red carpets and the paparazzi!
Item No. 2: This celebrity family has a rule — if their name is printed in the press, they better be the ones making money off of it. If a story is printed about them from an outside source, they sue, no questions asked. But they are more than happy selling their own family secrets as long as they are paid well for them.
