President Trump tweeted to voters Monday to say they should vote for Republicans in Tuesday’s special elections and attacked Democrats who are speaking out about the GOP’s efforts to push a healthcare bill through the Senate.
“Big day tomorrow in Georgia and South Carolina,” Trump tweeted. “ObamaCare is dead. Dems want to raise taxes big! They can only obstruct, no ideas. Vote “R”.”

In Georgia, Democrat Jon Ossoff is running against Republican Karen Handel in the state’s GOP-leaning 6th Congressional District in the most expensive House race in U.S. history. The House seat was vacated when Tom Price became Trump’s secretary for Health and Human Services.
In South Carolina, Republican Ralph Norman is facing off with Archie Parnell, a Democrat, in the state’s 5th Congressional District, a seat vacated by former GOP Rep. Mick Mulvaney, who is now White House budget director.
