Trump’s approval jumps to 51 percent

The majority of U.S. voters approve of President Trump’s job in office, according to a new poll released Friday, marking the first time since May that he has enjoyed the support of more than half of voters.

The survey from the conservative Rasmussen Reports found that 51 percent of likely voters back Trump, compared to 48 percent who are discontent with his performance. Rasmussen’s polling has been slightly more favorable for Trump than other pollsters’.
