Sourcefire Inc., a Columbia-based network security solutions company, announced preliminary financial results of revenues in the $10.1 milion to $10.5 million range for its first fiscal quarter of 2007.
This mark represents an increase compared with last year?s first quarter, when Sourcefire reported a first-quarter revenue of $8.5 million.
Despite the news, the stock of Sourcefire took a tumble. Shares fell by about 30 percent.
