Hillary Clinton told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer that the 74-year-old socialist senator from Vermont, Bernie Sanders, is more entrenched in the Democratic establishment than she is. The two are vying to be this year’s Democratic nominee for president of the United States.
“He’s been in Congress–he’s been elected to office a lot longer than I have,” Clinton said when Blitzer asked whether she was the establishment. “I was in the Senate for eight wonderful years representing New York. He’s been in the Congress for 25. And so I’ll let your viewers make their own judgment.”
