‘We need to stop CRT, period’: Black father and daughter go viral slamming critical race theory

A video of a man and his young daughter slamming critical race theory and encouraging people to love others regardless of race is going viral on social media.

“How we treat people is based on who they are and not what color they are,” the man says while sitting next to his daughter. She then adds, “And if they’re nice and smart.”

“See, this is how children think right here,” the father says in the video, which has been viewed thousands of times. “Critical race theory wants to end that. Not with my children. It’s not gonna happen.”

The unidentified black man explains that his daughter will “know that no matter what she wants to be in life,” she needs to “work hard, and she can become that.”

“Work hard,” his daughter chimes in. “Even if you don’t know anyone, you can make friends.”

The father then laughs and smiles at his daughter’s comment and again criticizes critical race theory, a theory based in Marxism that claims that every institution is fundamentally racist.

“Yeah, you can make friends no matter what color they are,” he says. “So we need to stop CRT, period. Point blank.”

Several jurisdictions across the country have attempted to do that, including in Florida, where Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis vowed to keep critical race theory out of schools. In Tennessee, the state Legislature banned it in public schools.

Many on the Left have expressed support for critical race theory, including an assistant dean at Brandeis University who publicly agreed with the notion that “all white people are racist.”
