Quinn, Rauner debate income tax increase

CHICAGO (AP) — Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn and Republican Bruce Rauner (ROW’-nur) are debating whether to keep Illinois’ income tax increase in place.

The tax increase Democrats approved in 2011 is set to drop from 5 percent to 3.75 percent on Jan. 1.
