Liberal pundits call Kyle Rittenhouse’s emotion ‘crocodile tears,’ implore judge to imprison him and ‘throw away the key’

Liberal pundits mocked and jeered at Kyle Rittenhouse after his emotional breakdown in court Wednesday.

Between claiming his display of emotion amounted to “crocodile tears” to demanding Judge Bruce Schroeder be thrown off the case, politicians, media figures, authors, and activists condemned Rittenhouse and the handling of his trial.

“Kyle Rittenhouse shot and killed Anthony Huber, 26, and Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and injured Gaige Grosskreutz, now 27,” said Ana Navarro, co-host on The View. “Think about how much their loved ones have cried, real anguish and grief, not crocodile tears.”

LEBRON JAMES MOCKS KYLE RITTENHOUSE FOR CRYING ON THE STAND, SAYS ‘THAT BOY’ ATE ‘LEMON HEADS’ BEFORE TRIAL

Rittenhouse broke down on the stand Wednesday while delivering his testimony of the events of Aug. 25, 2020. He traveled from his home in Illinois allegedly to protect businesses from rioters’ damage and looting while armed with a rifle.

He stands accused of shooting and killing activists Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber, as well as wounding Gaige Grosskreutz.

“I didn’t do anything wrong — I was defending myself,” he said Wednesday in court.

“Coming back from lunch, Kyle Rittenhouse’s defense team argues that the prosecution is purposely aiming for a mistrial. Meanwhile, the judge’s phone rings,” said Daily Beast reporter Justin Baragona. “The ringtone is Lee Greenwood’s patriotic anthem ‘God Bless the U.S.A.'”

“Lock up Kyle Rittenhouse and throw away the key,” Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, a New York Democrat, wrote on Twitter.

“Tamir Rice was 12 when he was killed. Trayvon Martin was 17 when he was killed,” said author Keith Boykin. “They didn’t kill anyone. But Kyle Rittenhouse, who broke the law, crossed state lines, and killed two people, is the one we’re supposed to believe is the victim.”

“Kyle Rittenhouse was: Not there to give first aid. Not there to save lives. Not defending himself. Not a victim,” said John Pavlovitz, an author. “He was there to play MAGA vigilante super-soldier and he executed two strangers.”

“I do not believe a single thing Kyle Rittenhouse says,” author Don Winslow said.

“I want Kyle Rittenhouse’s judge thrown off the case for overly favoring the Defense,” said filmmaker Chip Franklin. “Who is with me?”
