Get ready for executive orders on foreign policy Friday

A top aide in the Trump administration said on Wednesday evening that President Trump will take executive action on Friday that addresses foreign policy issues.

“We’re going to have a time of national security coming up on Friday where I expect a series of executive orders to start tackling issues in regard to foreign policy, issues in regard to ISIS and our positioning now through the world especially through the Middle East,” Trump’s chief of staff, Reince Priebus, told Fox News host Sean Hannity.

Trump is scheduled to meet with UK Prime Minister Theresa May at the White House on Friday. Trump will also visit with leaders from Canada, Israel and Mexico over the next month.

On Thursday, Trump’s schedule states he will announce executive action at 4 p.m., but the White House has kept close the topic of these actions close to its chest.
