Columbia-based LPP Combustion announced that it has received a U.S. patent for one of its fuel vaporization systems. The system coverts liquid fuels into a synthetic natural gas, called LPP gas, the company stated in a release. LPP gas can be burned in place of natural gas in low emissions gas turbines. “We see great success for the technology, which can be used in a wide range of combustion applications and global markets,” stated John Sams, the chief operating officer, in a company release.
