Donald Trump Jr. mocked Elizabeth Warren during Tuesday’s Democratic primary debate, tweeting an image of her registration card from 1986, on which she claimed to be an “American Indian.”

Trump issued his tweet around the time that the Massachusetts Democrat was claiming that insurance companies want people to fill out excessive amounts of forms so that they can deny them coverage.
“Why does everybody have to fill out such complicated forms? Because the insurance companies want an opportunity to say no,” Warren claimed.
Warren continues to take flak for having falsely claimed for years that she is Native American, which earned her the moniker of “Pocahontas” from President Trump. The Fordham Law Review in 1997 described her as Harvard Law School’s “first woman of color” on its faculty.
Warren has since apologized for making the claim and now acknowledges that she is not the member of any tribe.
