WATCH: The View hosts accuse Dr. Oz of bullying stroke victim John Fetterman

The ladies of The View criticized Republican Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz for bullying his Democratic opponent in the Pennsylvania election, John Fetterman, who recently suffered a stroke.

“It was really strange to me that [Dr. Oz] chose to bully a stroke victim,” Sunny Hostin told her co-hosts on Wednesday, referring to the Pennsylvania Senate debate between Oz and Fetterman on Tuesday evening.

“What kind of a doctor is behind that? Aren’t you supposed to do no harm?” Joy Behar said of Republican ads pointing out Fetterman’s gaffes. “It’s so unempathetic to the guy, you know?”

“He obviously was bullying him,” Hostin claimed. “I don’t think the people of Pennsylvania or the people in general like that because Fetterman raised $1 million after that debate.”

“I think it takes real courage to show that you have been knocked down. It takes real bravery to allow people to see your weakness,” she continued.

Behar went on to warn viewers against voting for “TV people,” even herself. “We had Donald Trump. Now we have Oz and now we have this Kari Lake. Don’t be fooled by that,” she said.

According to Hostin, “Fetterman’s cognitive abilities have not been compromised,” only his ability to express himself has.
