Movie gracing the screens of D.C.’s movers and shakers

Amazing Grace” is making waves in the political sphere, before the movie has even been released to the public.

According to U.S. News & World Report, the film has already transcended its role as an educational tool and is now being used as a model for bipartisanship as well. This week the film will be screened at the White House as part of President Bush’s focus on Black History Month.

Politicians, ranging from liberal Rep. John Lewis to conservative Sen. Sam Brownback, have given a thumbs-up to “Amazing Grace,” noted U.S. News and World Report, as well as groups from the Humane Society to Focus on the Family.
