WATCH: Zelensky thanks Musk for additional SpaceX Starlink internet stations

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said additional SpaceX Starlink internet stations will arrive next week for use in Ukraine’s “destroyed cities.”

Zelensky expressed his gratitude to SpaceX CEO Elon Musk for his support following a video call Saturday.


“Talked to @elonmusk,” Zelensky tweeted. “I’m grateful to him for supporting Ukraine with words and deeds. Next week we will receive another batch of Starlink systems for destroyed cities.”

Zelensky shared a video of them talking, in which he invited Musk to visit Ukraine once the war was over.

“I look forward to visiting,” Musk replied.

Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Mykhailo Federov tweeted at Elon Musk on Feb. 26, asking for assistance with restoring the country’s internet. Musk saw Federov’s tweet and turned on SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet service for the Ukrainian people.
