President Donald Trump’s online campaign store is now selling an “American Dreamer” hat for $50.
The description for the hat says “Americans are Dreamers too,” and is a quote from President Trump’s State of the Union address when he used the term for illegal immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children to describe all Americans.
The hat is a direct jab at the so-called “Dreamers” who were previously protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program put in place by former President Barack Obama and disbanded by the Trump administration.
“We all want to live the American dream and our 45th President is helping to make that dream a reality for each and every American. With our American Dreamer Hat you can show that you believe we can Make America Great Again,” the website description for the blue hat says.
The hat is listed as being “proudly made in the USA,” as is all of Trump’s campaign merchandise.
