KAMUELA, Hawaii (AP) — An autopsy will be conducted on a 71-year-old Texas woman who died after snorkeling along the Kohala Coast of Hawaii’s Big Island.
Police say Sokoon Yu of Flower Mound, Texas was snorkeling with a tour group in front of a resort Sunday when she became unresponsive. Tour group workers pulled her out of the water and performed CPR. Firefighters transported her to North Hawaii Community Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
