Roy Moore’s campaign declined to substantiate one of its claims intended to cast doubt on one of Moore’s accusers and proceeded to call the Washington Post a “worthless piece of crap.”

“The Washington Post is a worthless piece of crap that has gone out of its way to railroad Roy Moore,” Moore campaign strategist Brett Doster wrote in an “on the record” statement to the Washington Post.
