Former President George W. Bush took part in remembering those that were killed at the Pentagon during the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Accompanied by Defense Secretary Mark Esper and former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, Bush laid a wreath at the Pentagon’s memorial for the 184 people killed in the attack. The oldest victim was John D. Yamnicky, 71, and the youngest was Dana Falkenberg, 3.
After Taps sounded, Bush greeted and chatted with the crowd of victims’ families and survivors. Bush had been president for less than nine months at the time of the attack.

While Bush was leaving, a woman heckled him, shouting, “I disagree with you, about the war!” Her shouts were met with other people in the crowd, who told her to “shut up.”
President Trump had given a speech earlier at the Pentagon to mark 18 years since nearly 3,000 people were murdered by radical Islamic terrorists in New York City and Washington, D.C.
“If, for any reason they come back to our country, we will go wherever they are and use power the likes of which the United States has never used before — and I’m not even talking about nuclear power,” Trump said.
