Polish President Andrzej Duda issued a call to “fight fake news” after multiple reports that his wife had snubbed President Trump when he moved to shake hands with her on Thursday.
Contrary to some surprising reports my wife did shake hands with Mrs. and Mr. Trump @POTUS after a great visit. Let’s FIGHT FAKE NEWS.

“Contrary to some surprising reports my wife did shake hands with Mrs. and Mr. Trump @POTUS after a great visit. Let’s FIGHT FAKE NEWS,” Duda tweeted from his English Twitter account.
A widely circulated video appeared to show Polish first lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda snubbing Trump’s handshake as she and her husband greeted the Trumps and proceeding directly to first lady Melania. The encounter was dubbed intentional by some and accidental by others.

A longer cut of the video showed that she shook hands with Melania Trump and then turned to President Trump to greet him.
Folks, Poland’s first lady did not diss Trump’s handshake attempt. She was looking at Melania, shook her hand, then shook Trump’s. Stop. pic.twitter.com/ta8DNsv0Th
