New York subway bombing suspect taunted Trump on Facebook prior to attack: ‘Trump you failed to protect your nation’

The New York City Port Authority bombing suspect posted a Facebook message taunting President Trump just before his attempted ISIS-inspired strike, according to a criminal complaint filed against him on Tuesday.

“Trump you failed to protect your nation,” the post reads.

Akayed Ullah, 27, also posted a statement to his Facebook page “that he believed would be understood by members and supporters of ISIS” conveying to them that he carried out the attack in their name, according to the complaint.

Ullah is a Bangladeshi immigrant who is believed to have detonated a pipe bomb near port authority bus terminal on Dec. 11.

The blast reportedly did not go off as intended and the only critical injury was to Ullah, who is recovering from burns and wounds at Bellevue Hospital.

Ullah is currently facing five federal charges which include the use of weapons of mass destruction, and the bombing of a public place.
