HRABOVE, Ukraine (AP) — Plumes of black smoke rose Thursday near a rebel-held village of Hrabove in eastern Ukraine after a Malaysia Airlines passenger plane carrying 295 was shot down. Elsewhere, anxious and fearful family members waited for word on the fate of the passengers — and Malaysia reeled from the second tragedy to hit its national airline in less than five months.
