Sunday alcohol sales approved in Oxford

OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — The Oxford Board of Aldermen has approved an ordinance allowing restaurants to sell liquor on Sundays.

The board voted 6-1 Tuesday. The ordinance will go into effect in 30 days.
