TUPELO, Miss. (AP) — Regional bank Renasant Corp. said profit in 2012’s second quarter rose 10 percent from the same three months of 2011, thanks to lower interest payments to savers.
Renasant said Tuesday it posted quarterly profit of $6.34 million, or 25 cents per share, up from $5.76 billion or 23 cents per share in 2011’s second quarter.
