‘They do not like America’: Herschel Walker slams Democrats and says country won’t be recognizable if they win

Former NFL running back Herschel Walker slammed the Democratic Party for not liking the United States while also criticizing the media for not asking questions about former Vice President Joe Biden’s relationship with the late Sen. Robert Byrd of West Virginia.

“If you let the Democrat get in control, your grandkids, your kids are not going to recognize America because I see what they’re doing,” the Heisman Trophy winner said on Fox News Tuesday night. “They don’t tell you the truth. And the truth is they do not like America … They’re going to take your freedoms away, and I’m not going to stand for it.”

Walker also touched on a recently resurfaced story regarding Biden’s eulogy at the funeral of Byrd, a Democrat, who admittedly served in a leadership position within the Ku Klux Klan in his youth and apologized for it in his later years.

Walker said the media would “cover it nonstop” if President Trump had performed a similar eulogy and added that “Herschel Walker would not be his friend” if that were the case.

Walker has been an outspoken Trump supporter and spoke at the Republican National Convention in August, saying that it “hurt my soul” to hear people call Trump, his longtime friend, a racist.
