A man on the run since a Sunday Temple Hills domestic dispute that led an officer to fire her weapon has been apprehended.
Prince George’s County police said Tuesday that 30-year-old Joseph Quarm was arrested. Additional details about where and how he was apprehended were not immediately available.
Police responded to a domestic dispute on the 2600 block of Keating Street at about 4 a.m. Sunday. Authorities said Quarm tried to flee when officers approached him.
Quarm tried to punch and disarm an officer, authorities said. Police used pepper spray and a stun gun to subdue him, but he continued to resist arrest. Police said an officer fired her weapon during the struggle.
Quarm escaped in a car, which was later recovered, police said. He was wanted on charges of assault and attempting to disarm a police officer.
