Trump smears Clinton: ‘Money she is raising is blood money’

Donald Trump dismissed Hillary Clinton’s fundraising lead on Tuesday by saying she’s only getting millions more than him because she’s promising to take care of Wall Street and other interests.

“And you know when she raises this money, every time she raises this money, she is making deals. Saying, ‘can I be the ambassador to this, can I do that. Make sure my business is being taken care of.’ I mean, gimme a break. All of the money she is raising is blood money,” Trump told CBS. “Look, she is getting tremendous amounts from Wall Street. She is going to take care of Wall Street.”

The billionaire businessman reiterated earlier remarks that he does not want to devote his campaign to raising money off supporters, especially when he receives significantly more free media coverage than Clinton.

Clinton has raked in 32 times more cash in May than Trump, but Trump said that’s just evidence of her “crooked” ways, and said voters will come to realize how that mentality will “pillage” America.

“You look at the kind of rewards she’s been given and that her husband has been given. Very, very unfair and very, very bad for our county. And I think that’s why, despite very unfair press, I think that’s why I have done so well in the polls and that is why I am so close in the polls,” Trump said.
