The Maryland Lottery Agency is seeking more than 400 additional slot machines for its Cecil County casino, two weeks after winning state approval for a $49.4 million contract including 1,062 machines.
Gambling officials plan to solicit approval from the Board of Public Works to buy another 438 machines for $15.8 million at a meeting Wednesday, as was first reported by The Baltimore Sun.
Penn National’s Hollywood Casino Perryville, which is set to open in late September, will be the first slots parlor to open in Maryland.
