Supermodel Gigi Hadid won’t play a role in determining Harvey Weinstein’s fate.
Hadid, 24, was dismissed from the jury pool in Weinstein’s trial when she arrived at court Thursday morning, court spokesman Lucian Chalfen told CNN. Both sides agreed to her dismissal, Chalfen said.
The model told Judge James Burke on Monday that she had met the former film producer as well as one of the potential witnesses, actress Salma Hayek.
“I think I’m still able to keep an open mind on the facts,” she said, while seated about 20 feet away from Weinstein.

Hayek, 53, is among dozens of women who have accused Weinstein of sexual misconduct, from unwanted touching to rape. The actress alleged Weinstein, 67, asked her to shower with him and offered oral sex and massages.
Hadid is also close with 27-year-old actress and model Cara Delevingne, who alleged Weinstein tried to kiss her after he made inappropriate comments about her sexuality.
Weinstein, who is facing life in prison if convicted, has denied any wrongdoing.
