Obama’s youngest daughter starts college at University of Michigan

The Obama’s youngest daughter, Sasha, is set to start her college career at the University of Michigan.

Sasha, 18, was spotted by students at freshman orientation accompanied by Secret Service agents according to the Detroit News.

“I was walking by pushing a vacuum and she walked out right in front of me,” Zach Lassen, a third-year student, said. “I said, ‘Excuse me.’ It was a crowded hallway with her and some Secret Service dudes.”

Lassen said he thought it was “pretty cool” that an Obama was going to the school but added that some of the people were annoyed by there being extra security.

Her father, former President Barack Obama, attended Columbia University as an undergraduate and her mother, Michelle Obama, attended Princeton University as an undergraduate.

Sasha’s older sister Malia Obama will start her third year at Harvard University this fall. Sasha Obama is set to begin classes on Tuesday.
