The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Keira Knightly has scored the female lead in “Jack Ryan.” The film, which is a prequel to Tom Clancy’s books, also stars Chris Pine as the title character and will be directed by Kenneth Branagh. Knightley was rumored to be in the running for the role along with Felicity Jones and Evangeline Lilly. She is currently in contract negotiations with Paramount.
