Huntsville church celebrates ‘lunar communion’

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) — Congregants of a Huntsville church snacked on Moon Pies and Tang before heading into the sanctuary to commemorate an astronaut’s “lunar communion” 43 years ago.

On July 20, 1969, Buzz Aldrin took communion on the moon during one of NASA’s lunar missions.
