Nebraska Sen. Ben Sasse tweeted late Tuesday that he will not support Donald Trump for president despite Ted Cruz suspending his campaign.

Instead, the Tea Party darling told his followers he stood by his February Facebook post that the Republican and Democratic front-runners are “dishonest” people and Americans have been conned.

Sasse instructed the party to do better, but did not lay out another option for voters on either side of the aisle.
