Monkees singer Davy Jones dead at 66

Davy Jones, the lead singer of the Monkees, has died.

Christine Weekes, administrative manager for the medical examiner’s office in Fort Pierce, Fla., confirmed to TMZ that they received a call from Martin Memorial Hospital informing them that the Englishman had passed away. He was 66 years old.

His publicist has confirmed to ABC News that Davy suffered a heart attack at his home Wednesday morning. The rep told TMZ that Davy was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The singer is survived by his wife, Jessica, and four daughters from his first two marriages.

Davy joined the Monkees in 1965 and performed alongside Americans Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith and Peter Tork. Some of the band’s biggest hits include “Daydream Believer,” their first single, “Last Train to Clarksville,” and the smash hit “I’m a Believer.”

The television show that the band was formed around ran from 1966 to 1968.

Jen, Ben welcome third child, a son named Samuel

Ben Affleck isn’t the only guy in the house anymore!

He and wife Jennifer Garner have welcomed a son, Samuel.

The pair have two daughters, Violet Anne, 6, and Seraphina Rose Elizabeth, 3.

According to People, Ben announced the birth of his baby boy on Facebook, saying, “We are happy to announce on February 27, Jennifer gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Samuel Garner Affleck.”

“Our girls are working on names. At first they were definitely Disney. It was like, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse Affleck,” Jennifer, 39, told Jay Leno recently on “The Tonight Show.” “And then they’ve moved on. Then it was Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Smee.”

We can’t wait to see Ben dressing little Samuel up in Red Sox gear from head to toe and toting him along to games. Adorbs.
