Two cop cars among 10 hit by thieves at Pentagon City

At least 10 vehicles — including two police cars — were reportedly struck by thieves Tuesday at the Pentagon City mall parking lot.

Police say they believe the incidents took place between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., and are currently investigating the break-ins, which include five reported thefts and five reported attempted thefts.

Police did not immediately confirm which law enforcement agency’s vehicles had been broken into.

Officers urged shoppers to store their valuables out of sight and ensure their vehicles are locked before entering the mall.
