Wax Trump figure punched and scratched at museum

A wax figure of former President Donald Trump was punched and scratched at a museum in San Antonio.

One museum attendee reportedly could not hold back their frustrations against the former president and decided to take their fists to the dummy model of Trump, according to the San Antonio Express-News.

“When it’s a highly political figure, attacks can be a problem,” said Clay Stewart, regional manager for museum owner Ripley Entertainment.

The incident occurred at Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks in Alamo Plaza. The figure of Trump is standing next to wax models of Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

It is not clear whether the figure of Trump will be repaired and put back on display.

Stewart reportedly said the dummy of the former president is unlikely to go back up before the museum finishes its model of President Biden, which is currently under construction.
