More reasons young people are rejecting abortion

Re: “There’s a reason NARAL is losing youth vote,” from readers, April 26

Bradley Mattes said young people are overwhelmingly pro-life because pro-aborts are killing their progeny, but there are other reasons. Young people detect and reject frauds more easily than adults, including the lies and half-truths told by NARAL, Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry:

“It’s just a mass of tissue.” Sonograms explode this lie.

“Abortion is completely safe.” Medical experts tell us that abortion increases the risk of preterm birth, breast cancer and psychological trauma.

Millions of pro-lifers have prayed and worked for 37 years to promote the sanctity of human life and are now seeing success. When people see the reality of abortion, which is frequently being shown on college campuses, they recoil. Millions of women regret their abortions and are communicating what a horrible experience it is to others.

Hillary said Americans have a ‘right to disagree’

In 2003, talking about the Bush administration, Hillary Clinton said: “I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration, somehow you’re not patriotic. We should stand up and say, ‘We are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration.’ ”

Today her husband is comparing patriotic Americans who don’t want this monstrous progressive takeover of our country and our economy to Timothy McVeigh, and the progressive Left calls us everything but human.

This week Pew found that 80 percent of the people surveyed say the federal government has too much power.
