Sen. John McCain’s daughter on Tuesday called for the resignation of the Nevada GOP committeewoman, Diana Orrock, who insinuated her father should die.

She also retweeted a post calling on Orrock’s immediate resignation.
On Monday, Orrock tweeted “Amen” in response to a tweet that read “Please Just Fucking Die Already #JohnMcCain #Neocons #Russia.”
She later apologized, saying “Today’s retweet was disrespectful. Sen. McCain is an American hero. I don’t wish anyone harm.”

The senator’s office revealed over the weekend that he had a procedure to remove a blood clot from above his left eye, derailing a vote on the Senate GOP’s now-defunct healthcare bill this week.
