Dean has an excellent analysis of Obama’s simplistic foreign policy views, but I thought I’d append some numbers that help give perspective: Iran today 1,648,000 square km 66 million people Germany in 1939 (after annexation of Austria and the Sudetenland) 586,000 sq. km 80 million people Japan in 1941 394,000 sq km 105 million people Those smallish countries gave us a hell of time. Good thing Obama’s grandfather was around to fight them!
