Body found in Potomac River near Oxon Hill

A body was found Thursday morning in the Potomac River, officials said.

About 10:15 a.m., fire boats located the body near Oxon Hill and brought it to shore, Prince George’s County Fire/EMS  Department spokesman Mark Brady said.

Prince George’s County police are investigating.

This is the second time this week that a body was found in the Potomac River. Tuesday, D.C. Fire and EMS personnel found a man’s body near the 14th Street Bridge.
