McCain takes a break from the negative ads

While Barack Obama was preparing to thrill tens of thousands of Democrats in Denver, John McCain was on the trail in Ohio staying coy on the question of his running mate. But just before Obama delivered his remarks, McCain’s team aired a television ad congratulating Obama for a “job well done” and saying that Obama claiming the nomination on the anniversary of Martin Luther King’s “Dream” speech was a “truly great moment for America.” McCain promised that the truce was only temporary. “We’ll be back at it tomorrow,” he said.
