Watch: Bill O’Reilly blames #BlackLivesMatter for ‘killing Americans’

Fox News host Bill O’Reilly said the #BlackLivesMatter activist movement is responsible for more American deaths.

“How Black Lives Matter is killing Americans: that is the subject of tonight’s talking points memo,” he said in beginning his Wednesday night show, saying that since the protests in Ferguson, “murders in the USA’s largest 50 cities are up close to 17 percent.”

O’Reilly then described what he called a “violent subculture in the African-American community.”

“The media will not spotlight that much of the violent crime in America is being committed right now by young black men,” O’Reilly said. “Blacks of all ages commit homicide at a rate of 8 times higher than whites and Hispanics combined. Conclusion: There is a violent subculture in the African American community that should be exposed and confronted.”

The activist movement promotes violence and a “false narrative” around police shootings of black Americans, he said.

“In addition, #BlackLivesMatter is also infringing on freedom of assembly and freedom of expression,” he added, noting that activists crashed Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos’ event at DePaul University this week.

He concluded that: “thousands more Americans are being murdered because police are now more passive since the Ferguson situation and the Black Lives Matter protests.”
